Hortonville Wrestling Club sponsors the youth wrestling program for the Hortonville Area School District.  All athletes in HASD are welcome to join the program.  HWC believes in the value of multi-sport athletes.  HWC also has the objective of developing great people, not just great wrestlers.  A wide range of athletic, scholastic, community service and other experiences are encouraged.

Wrestling Club (HWC), per COVID policy, is enacting numerous enhanced safety and health procedures to ensure a successful season in this contact sport. We ask that all participants and guardians comply with these procedures as a condition of participation in all HWC activities.  These activities are shown in our HWC Covid policy and are summarized below:

  • All participants are REQUIRED to be registered in SportsEngine and check in at practice
    • This is for proper contact tracing as well as to ensure all participant waivers have been completed
  • Self-health check for guardians and participants prior to coming to practice
    • If anybody doesn't feel good, take the night off, no big deal!
  • Recommend sanitizing prior to stepping on the mat - sanitizer will be provided
  • Mask usage is consistent with HASD COVID Policies. Visit www.hasd.org for additional information
  • Limit practice guardians/spectators (preferably no other siblings for the PreK to 5th grade youth groups) during practice time to limit exposure
