Dear Hortonville Wrestling Alum,
The 2011-2012 wrestling season will soon be upon us. With that in mind I would like to invite you to the 2nd Annual Polar Bear Wrestling Alumni Night, sponsored by the Hortonville Wrestling Booster Club. This year's Alumni Night will be Thursday, December 1, 2011 at our season opening dual meet vs. the Denmark Vikings. Junior Varsity matches are set to start at approximately 6:00 pm, with Varsity action to begin at approximately 6:30 pm. All wrestling Alumni in attendance will make the entrance tunnel for the Polar Bears as they take the mat. At the completion of the dual all alumni in attendance are invited to Pork's for a social gathering with pizzas provided by the Hortonville Wrestling Booster Club.

This year we would like to make a special recognition of Hortonville's most recent Conference Championship team, the 1998-1999 squad. All members of that team in attendance will be announced prior to the start of the Varsity matches. 

Also, to honor Hortonville's first ever and only State wrestling champion to date, Anthony Vandehei will be introduced and his State Championship Banner unveiled in the Field House.

New this year, the decade with the most Alumni wrestlers in attendance will win the traveling trophy that will be displayed at Pork's. 

I am really looking forward to another Alumni Night. Last year's event was very well attended, I hope that even more of you can come on out and support the Polar Bears this year. I really enjoyed seeing my ex-wrestlers that were in attendance, and it was really neat meeting some of the Alum that wrestled here long before I came. I really enjoyed visiting with all the ex-wrestlers that came before me, can't wait to meet and talk wrestling wtih even more of you this year.

Please help us spread the word, as we only have a limited number of addresses. We are counting on you to help get this information to the entire Polar Bear Wrestling Family. So call all those old teammates and help your decade win the title!
